SSO ReturnURL?

Does the Single Sign On have something similar to the ReturnUrl parameter that the default Gemini login uses?  I have successfully used the SSO.aspx page to create a custom login page for our users but after the redirect to the custom login page, their original entry point is lost when ReturnUrl is passed to the SSO.aspx page.
