Please check the user access for the project (click on the project and select scheme by scheme) and make sure that the anon user is not selected.

Are you talking about project administration/security scheme?

Scheme is set to a custom defined security scheme, the same scheme is defined in the other projects which don't allow comments.

If I look at this scheme in administration/schemes I have

View Project and Create Comment ticked.

Do I untick "create comment"? It just seems strange though if all the other projects seem to not be able to create comments? (as explained on first post).

No, go to the main admin page, click on User Access, then click on the project and scheme by shcme to make sure the anon user is not selected.

Thanks - OK I checked every scheme and anonymous user wasn't selected.

Then I went through every scheme again and clicked UPDATE just in case there were any dud values in the database. No success I'm afraid...

OK it's fixed, turns out that anonymous access what not applied to the anonymous user. Many thanks for your help...!
