Set Issue Watcher automatically when issue is created

Hi,

Is it possible to set the user who creates the issue as 'Issue watcher' automatically? what we want to do is to be able to send updates automatically to customers who report issues on our bug tracking system. At the moment we have to manually click on Watch this issue link.

Yes, you can do this from the Administration -> Notifications page -set  "Email Issue Creator" to "Yes"

Thanks for your reply. But its not clear where these settings are. Where can i find "Administration ->Notification Page"? is in the config file?

No, when logged in as Admin, you will see the "Administration" link at the top of the home page.

Click on it. The click on Notifications, which is on the left hand side.
