Question from a user:

"So that I don’t have to keep checking Gemini to see if I have been assigned a new issue or task, is there a way for the system to notify me by email if an issue has specifically assinged to me and only to me?"

As far as I can see regarding alerts, as it is now, there does not seem to be the granularity in place that would allow for this suggestion.  It seems alerts are set up to function at the project level only, not the issue level meaning a user can decide to be alerted when a resource has been assigned to any issue within a specific project but not to the level where the user only gets an alert if that user has been assigned.  Simply stated, I don't want to get email alerts every time any user is assigned to any issue in a project.  Unless I'm missing something this does not seem to be best design of the alerting system.
