How can I look at Closed and Completed Issues

When I set an Issue to Promoted to Live and Complete, the issue is treated as closed and, by default, I dont see it on my filter. This is great. However, I now want to produce a report of all issues for a client, when I tried to do this, none of my closed issues are displayed. I then tried to look at issues from previous versions and had the same problem.

Can you tell me, when I mark a version as released and/or archived are the issues for that version deleted? Any help greatly appreciated. The documentation is not clear on what exactly happens when I release / archive a version.

My error, there was an additional filter on - I am able to see my closed issues. I would however like to know what Archived and Released do to a version. I believe released simply removes the version number from the filter list and removes the version from the roadmap. I have no idea what archived does though.

Archived is used when an old version becomes obsolete.

What impact does this have on the issues in this version, or is it simply a flag setting on the version so that you know it is no longer an active version.
