New issue page taking a long time to load, any suggestions

We are running Gemini 2.0.3 on IIS 6 on Windows 2003 server.

We have a performance issues when we try and click on the create new issue page.  The rest of the system loads really quickly but when we click on create new issue we have to wait a long time for the page to load.

Can anyone offer any suggestion on how we could speed this up?  Is this down to all of the editor boxes that appear?  Is there a way we could possibly turn a few of these off?

It might be due to the RAD editor, try switching to FreeTexBox or normal text box.

You can do this by changing the following in the web.config file:

  • <add key="IssueDescriptionType" value="RichText" />

  • <add key="IssueCommentType" value="RichText" />
