Test Management in Gemini (GEM-477)
Hi,
We are keen to improve our test management (currently use Excel) and I noticed GEM477 is scheduled for 3.0. Is there any informnation on what is planned for this feature and if it is still in the 3.0 release. Version 3.0 according to the roadmap is scheduled for September 2007, which would be great if 477 does what we are looking for , and is still part of 3.0.
Thanks - we are very happy uses of 2.1.1 (2.2.1 this week I hope)
Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve, We will be putting up a spec for people who are interested to review. We are still pushing for testing to be part of 3.0. If not, then certainly in 3.1 which will follow shortly thereafter. Key point: we will be looking for people to comment and provide feedback as testing is an important topic. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for quick answer. Depending on the timing we may be able/happy to participate in the testing cycle. Let us know. Cheers Steve |

Can confirm, we are happy to participate in testing this. Any info you can provide regarding the feature would be most useful so we can understand how this is being implemented Cheers Steve |

I was searching the web about a week ago for a Test Management tool, then I thought I would just use our gemini app. I think that most of the features are there to at least create another project for testing. I can classify the testing for certain versions and I can even copy over some of the issues that have been created in other projects. |
