Moved from IIS6 to IIS7 - login failure for all users

Hi,

after moving 3.0.4 from machine A with w2k3/IIS6 to w2k8/IIS7 I get an "Incorrect username and/or password" for all users in the database.

When resetting the password using the "forgot password" page/mail, I can reset the password and after this, when trying to login with this account, I don't get the above error message any longer but I'm still not logged in correctly.

What may be missing?

Set the application pool to classic mode and now it works.
