Created Issue Status is not displayed in the Status field.

We are using Version 2.0.2.  We recently added a new Issue Status and defined the valid pre and post states.  The newly added status is displayed in the project dashboard but is not displayed as an option in  the status drop down box.

Would appreciate any help.
