Gemini 5: Unhandled exception: 'The file ... already exists'

We received the following error message by email over the weekend. We are unable to determine the exact trigger even after reviewing the log files:

Unhandled exception: The file 'E:\Gemini\Gemini5.1.2\assets\styles\apps\4192EAA7-9D09-4E36-97C3-64FCE039EDB4\app.css.tmp' already exists.. did you setup permissions on the assets folder and delete all *.css.tmp files?
