Gemini 5: Pinned cards: bug or feature?
Cards in Gemini 5 are great feature. But while playing with them I noticed strange behaviour. After pinning the card it still saves new filtering to the card. User cannot control when filter is saved to the card. So it is unusable if you want to have cards with permanent links. Is there in Gemini 5 something like filters in Gemini 4.2?

If you navigate to a filter using a card then any change to the filter will be persisted with the card. You should go to the page (not using the card) create the filter and pin it. |

You should ensure that when you create a new card as you filter. The other cards are not highlighted otherwise it just updates the current card. |

Do you think the thin border around the card? It's unusable. It's easy to overlook. |

We know, that's why it will change in the next release. |

Sorry, it's not for me. Do you know somebody who use it this way? I thought the cards are something like favorites in the browser. Just imagine you have a favorite to www.google.com in your browser. You click it, search and browse to e.g. cnn.com. Now you want to go back to Google. So you click your Google favorite and... What the hell? It does nothing, it stays on cnn.com because your favorite has been changed from google.com to cnn.com. |

We are improving the working model around cards and I think you will be happy and surprised by what is planned for AppNav cards. There is some much potential here and room for improvement. Watch out for the 'AppNav' release due in the new year. |
