Error clicking on any projects after switching to Windows Authentication

Hi

I have just switched Gemini to run under windows authentication and made the registry settings changes as in you FAQs but I am now getting the error:

I have looked at the FAQs and have seen this FAQ which seems to be the same error (I do have SimplyFi installed) but I have followed the advice, reset the API key (which was already set) and I still get the error.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Rich

Can you let me know which version of SimplyFi you are running (goto > Finance >> General >> Licensing page to see SimplyFi version number)

OK, there is a slightly newer build available which will fix this issue (we have removed the dependency on the Web Services within SimplyFi) - you can download the latest build from here:

Run the installer on the machine where Gemini & SimplyFi are installed and select the "Upgrade" option.

Thanks Dave, that fixed it.

The upgrade reset the web.config back to Forms authentication which I then changed back to Windows and recylced the app pool. This did cause a strange situation on the main page of the site whereby it was not recognising my windows credentials but there was no login box either. I clicked the Reset button in the top-right and that seemed to re-authenticate as I could then see all the project etc that I was expecting. A bit odd but working now, so thanks very much.

Now on to the Scheduler issues..! I will raise another question if I get stuck.
