How do i uninstall simplyfi

simplyfi

i installed the demo, now i want to uninstall this feature. thanks.

Hi. To uninstall SimplyFi please follow the steps below :

  1. Delete the "Apps\SimplyFi" folder from your Gemini Root.
  2. Replace the original Gemini Files (backups found in "App_Data" folder) to their original localtions as below : Controls/ActionBar.ascx Controls/Footer.ascx Project/ProjectSummaryTab.ascx issue/ViewIssue.aspx controls/issuesGridUC.ascx Web.Config
  3. Delete all the simplyfi_* tables and stored procedures from your gemini Database.

Please also let us know your reasons for not wanting to continue using SimplyFi - any feedback we receive will be taken into consideration for future releases and would be greatly appreciated.

My goal is to bring all of the apps we use (Help Desk, time keeping, issue tracking) into gemini. I installed simplyfi to establish if it could take over from our current system which we use for timekeeping, quoting and invoicing (Synergist). It looks good and i would prefer the devs to have one place to manage their work, time etc but we really haven't had time to properly evaluate it, I was just eager to see what it could do. However people are asking what is that 'pointing to the info panel'. So to prevent confusion i want to uninstall until such time that we can properly evaluate it which would need to include out accountant and pm. Some video dems would be grand however to help me sell it to our accountant and pm.

One suggestion, if an issue has a work estimate that task will display the estimate in the ViewIssue display (handy). However if any child issues have work estimates, it would be great if it either showed a consolidated or itemised Estimate rather than just the work estimate for the item being viewed. Or having the ability to choose might be useful. I can see our pm creating an issue/requirement with multiple sub-issues and needing to see the combined estimated work time. (screenshot not showing will email)
