visibility
Hi,
Im having an issue with users - belonging to the 'external users groups (helpdesk) ' not being able to see the status when viewing a list of issues.
They do have access to the data - andwe have added 'status' using 'customise view' but no luck.
to investigate I tried using the administration interface : "\Security\Global groups\group" - but nothing happens when I click at 'Visibility', 'Projects' or 'permissions'?
see screenshot at http://screencast.com/t/h46UalRN0zs
Please advice
Kind regards Morten

ANSWER
You need to change the screen (4.0) or field visibility scheme (3.7-) to show these fields for these users. Go to Administration -> Screens (or Field Visibility Schemes) to amend it. |

thnx - actually I've already done that - for the projectgroup that the person is a part of - but I didn't expect that It should be nessecary to do it for the global group as well. But after enabling the global group it was visible - thnx :-) But I still have an issue with http://screencast.com/t/h46UalRN0zs - whats the purpose of these - and how do I use it ? Or is this an error ? |

You should see the permissions tab at least. If nothing happens, please check the system log. |
