Help Desk user not seeing own items

When a help desk user logs in to create a ticket, they can create a ticket and upon saveing the ticket are returned to the created ticket. They cannot see the ticket when viewing the item list. No matter whast is selected in the filter, no items are displayed. Attached are the permissions assigned to the External Users group. What am I missing.

Please make sure that the user belongs to everyone group.

I had them in Everyone (Authenticate) so I added them to Everyone. Now they see their items and items from other projects.

ANSWER

All you have to do is not give any permissions to the everyone group (Administration -> Permissions). Once you have done that the users will only view items from projects they are allowed to view.
