POP Port/Configuration Setup Problem

My POP e-mail account configuration is set to Port 995 and SSL is set to "Yes", but when I test my connection I get an error that reports the IP address that was pinged ended in :110. How can I force it to test SSL? If it helps, I am trying to connect to a POP e-mail address managed by a Google Apps account. Thanks so much for the help.

Which version of Gemini are you running? It might be a firewall issue as we fall back to port 110 if the configured port doesn't work.

I am running 4.1. I opened port 995 on the firewall (it was closed), but am still getting the same error.

Did you enable pop access in gmail? http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13273

Yes, I currently get it in my inbox and it works fine. I'm trying to migrate to Gemini for a centralized support system, but the account works perfectly with Apple Mail and Outlook 2010.

Can you please send a screenshot of your mailbox settings (in Gemini) to support at countersoft dot com?
