I recently upgraded to Gemini ver 4.0. When i select "Screens" and then click on any field visisbility scheme, I get an error (see screen shot). The IE 7 settings are set to disable script debugging and not to display a notification about every script error. Any idea on what else to check?

Did you try to clear the browser's cache? Also, is this the only page that causes you errors?

The Cache is cleared. This is the only page that causes the error.

Can you try it on another PC / IE8?

Our company standard is IE 7 so using IE 8s not an option. I have two different instances of Gemini (different lics). The problem only occurs on one instance and not the other (yet both have been upgraded to ver 4.0

Can you try and open the web.config file on the instance that you are having issues with and change the forms name tag:

<forms name=".Gemini40PutSomethingHere"...

both instances have the name tag as Gemini40RTM. Not sure what changing the name tag will achieve.

It will create a new cookie and cache for the other instance.

I still get the same error even after changing the name / tag

In addition, when I create a new custom field in the same instance of Gemini ver 4.0 and try to assign who can view it (e.g. “Everyone Authenticated’) in the “Screen’ section /Field Visibility Scheme, I get the error message "403-Forbidden: Access is denied. However, I do not get any error with an existing custom field or in the other instance of Gemini ver4.0 Any help on this two issues will be greatly appreciated.

We need to understand the differences between the 2 installations, as you've said 1 works the other has this issue. Are they both installed on the same server? When you upgraded did you replace all files including the js directory?

The two instances are on different servers. All files were replaced during the upgrade as per the instructions from Gemini
