Gemini DB Size

I was wondering how large a DB could be in terms of GB before Gemini starts to throw issues.

Currently using v3.7.1 and the DB is at 14 GB

14GB??? That sounds too big. Is that the size of the data file or log + data?
The average size is around 500mb, but it depends on the number of attachments.

Thats log + data

We are in progress of setting up a archive to store some of the inactive projects however once that is done, the DB still should be hovering around 5GB

Your log file must be big, are you using full recovery model?
