Synchronizing Problem

I recently installed the Gemini Outlook Add-in on my system and my Gemini tasks are displayed in the calendar. Any changes made to the tasks in the Gemini Server are shown in my calendar tasks, however the changes made to the tasks from within the Outlook calendar do not show on the Gemini Server. Has anybody experienced this problem? Does anybody know of a solution? If so, any help would be kindly appreciated.

What changes are you making? Note that only the start and due date will be updated from outlook to Gemini.

I solved my problem by installing the REST. However, in Gemini you have the option of specifying a Start Date and a Due Date. When I specify both dates, I am able to make changes to either one in Outlook and make it synchronize with Gemini, but when I only specify one in Gemini (ex. specify the start date and leave the due date empty, or specify the due date and leave the start date empty) the changes that I make to this date in Outlook don't stick or synchronize with Gemini. Why?
