New Install Gemini 3.1.1 (Build 2212) - Failed to map the path '/aspnet_client/system_web/2_0_50727/

Just performed a clean install on a fresh install of W2K3, SQL2005, IIS6 fully patched up-to-date.

Installed the sample Gemini database. Made the appropriate changes to web.config to be able to connect to SQL.

Simply browsed to the Gemini site, clicked on 'Click here to sign-up for an account' and get the following error

Failed to map the path '/aspnetclient/systemweb/2050727/WebForms.js'.

Restart IIS now when I do the same thing I get the following error

Failed to map the path '/aspnetclient/systemweb/2050727/WebUIValidation.js'.

Seems to be one or other of the errors intermittently.

Not a good start to a product evaluation.

Any ideas?

Never mind, fixed it myself. I had installed the Gemini virtual directory beneath a top-level website that was configured for .NET 1.1. Uninstalled, created my top-level site with .NET 2.0, reinstalled and those errors have gone away!
