DISREGARD: Unable to connect using VS2008 Add-In or Gemini Desktop

Good morning.

I have an issue where I cannot connect to Gemini using the VS2008 add-in or the Gemini Desktop.

Server using v3.1.2 (Build 2257)

VS2008 add-in using 1.1.2 ( Build 2235 )
Gemini Desktop using 3.1.2 ( Build 2235 )

Gemini is located at http://servername ( 10.1.2.x ) and in all cases the error message I get is Incorrect Username/Password.

The Username/Password combination works perfect when I use the http interface

Puzzled by what I am missing.

Gemini add-on products, including Gemini Desktop only accept Gemini  authentication, please ensure to log in using Gemini credentials.

Are you using a proxy server? If yes, then you'll need to select the Proxy Server option in the login pane and specify the IP address of the proxy server and port number in the format IP Address:Port number e.g. 192.168.1.100:8080

 

In case you are still not able to log in, please send us (supportatcountersoft.com) debug output from DebugView, which can be downloaded from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896647.aspx
