Error setting animation value

Hi,

I'm currently evaluating Gemini for corporate use, including Gemini Desktop. Unfortunately, I get the following error when trying to run Gemini Desktop:

Error setting animation value: ColorAnimationStepConverter cannot convert from System.String.

I have to commit this error window 32 (!) times (pops up over and over again), and then Gemini Desktop finally starts and seems to work fine.

The error message that is displayed when you tried using Gemini Desktop add-on implies certain Telerik dlls that Gemini Add-on products require to be present in GAC(C:/Windows/Assembly) are not present. Our install process is designed to automatically add these dlls, however it is possible these dlls were not added to the GAC for some reason.

Please copy and add these dlls (PSA) and drop it in to GAC(C:/Windows/Assembly). To get these DLLs, please send an email to support at countersoft dot com and mention this post.

Unfortunately, it didn't work, I get the same error after installing the DLLs. I also checked on a second machine, and the DLLs are actually installed during setup, but the error occurs on the second machine as well.

Hi again,

I was wondering if you have an update on this problem... any progress with users not having full admin rights?

We haven't managed to re-create the issue yet. The issue comes from some of the Telerik controls that we are using, they don't know about a fix for this yet.
