TimeTracker Install Fails with "Too many automatic redirections were attempted" alert

web-app

I am trying to install TimeTracker 0.4 into our testing environment of Gemini and get to almost the end of the install before being alerted that "too many automatic redirections were attempted" and the installer closes.

The reason I am posting this here is when I ran the Config Checker in Gemini the "FullGeminiURL" responded with the exact same phrase: "Too many automatic redirections were attempted." which led me to beleive that this is actually a Gemini issue and not necessarily isolated to the TimeTracker addon.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the installation of Gemini, but as I'm not sure what info might be needed I am hesitant to post anything at the moment.

Thanks for any help!

Sincerely,
Jon

PS, I have copied and pasted this post into the TimeTracker Forum as well and will update if any information is forthcoming from there!

Is Gemini (web) working ok?

What happens when you try: to navigate to:

http:/SERVER/GEMINI/webservices/gemini.asmx

and

http:/SERVER/GEMINI/webservices/AuthWS.asmx

Thanks Mark,

Seems our IT people didn't install the Microsoft WSE 2.0 SP3 like we asked them to, will be hounding them tonight!

Will post if this does, or doesn't, resolve the issue!

Thanks for the rapid response!

Jon

Well, after getting the Microsoft WSE 2.0 SP3 installed, and querying the pages you requested we receive the following:

http:/SERVER/GEMINI/webservices/gemini.asmx returns

"GeminiWS -The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description. " with a list of links

and

http:/SERVER/GEMINI/webservices/AuthWS.asmx returns

"AuthWS - The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description." with a list of links.

When I tried to install timetracker again this morning using "http://server/gemini.asmx" as FullGeminiURL and ABC123 as the WebServices Access Code found in the web.config it reached the end to throw the same "automatic redirections" error and therefore rolledback and failed.

Any thoughts? Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks,
Jon
