Hi, I am having problems with installing the msde database, and conbfigure the Gemini to it.

 I installed the MSDE and also a manager of it. I cannot see the registerd server. I cannot creater database and then the installation of the gemini is not finished.

please help me if you can, what are the steps should I take so I can have the Gemini work finnaly.

Did you give your SQL installation a named instance or did you use the default?

I gave it an instance name and I am connected (I see the small icon with the green arrow) but when trying to create a data base with the command "osql -E -S ....." I can never find it.

I alos have a MSDE manager trail version but I can never find the registerd server.

You need to specify the named instance when connecting:

Server Name\Named Instance
