I am currently evaluating Gemini and have made some alterations to reflect our development process.  I have changed the statuses to match the various steps in our process e.g. analysis, build, internal test, uat, release.  For each of these statuses I would typically assign a resource belonging to the appropriate group.  For example, a task might be assinged to Joe to do the analysis, he would pass it to Dave to code, and then Bill would be assigned for testing.  In order to make Gemini follow this process each person will need to be able to change the status when they complete their work and also to change who the task is assigned to.  Naturally there is room for error in this.  So now I'm thinking I can add some custom fields so the the resources for each phase can be assigned at task creation and then I can modify the stored procs so that the assignment happens automatically. 

Are other people working in a similar way or do they have a different solution to change in resourced assignment during a tasks workflow?
