Internet Explorer (IE) Cannot Log-In. Firefox can.

web-app

I was using Gemini version 1.9.1.  Someone deleted the database username.  Upon replacing it and creating the proper permissions, we cannot log into the Gemini site.  Firefox works OK.  I have ran a database trace and although the sequence of commands during a log-in are different when it is IE and Firefox, I cannot find any useful information.

I followed the instructions for upgrading to 2.0.4.  I completely replaced the web app folder.  We are still have the problem.  If I try it on my Windows XP machine, the new web app does allow IE to log-in.  So, it is not a database problem.  It has something to do with the Server 2003 IIS 6.0 configuration with Gemini.  Any ideas?

Thanks

I solved the problem.

1. Remove the Gemini web app.
2. Create a virtual directory with the same name in IIS.
3. Delete the virtual directory.  Despite uninstalling and reinstalling Gemini, the settings would remain.  Do this step got rid of the bad settings that were keeping IE from working.
4. Reinstall Gemini.
