Project Customization

projects

Every project in Gemini can be tuned to ensure it looks and operates in an optimal fashion.  This includes:

  • Which item types (e.g. Bug, Task, Change Request) are included.
  • Which resources are utilized.
  • Whether you can single or multi-select resources and components.
  • Whether a description is required when adding a new item.
  • Default views that control if certain item attributes (e.g. Severity, Version) are actually displayed or not.
  • Default values that apply when users do not supply full data values.

But why would you want to fine tune a project? Because you want to give end users the best user experience possible by ensuring relevancy when they use your project.

You can view and change such options via the Project Administration menu item located top right when you navigate to any project.
